Answer Me, Lord

But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.” Psalm 69:13 ESV
Prayer
Lord, You are eternal. Time is not the same for You as it is for us. What feels like forever to us is but a moment to You. You are a long-suffering Father, patient beyond measure.
You are near to us and save us because of Your great faithfulness and love. You hear our prayers and answer according to Your perfect will. Even when we do not see it, You are continually working on our behalf.
Help us to trust in Your steadfast love. There are so many needs in our world right now, Lord—make us more diligent in prayer. Give us Your peace and comfort. Steady us when we doubt.
Be glorified in our lives today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Questions for Reflection
What am I bringing before the Lord right now, and am I trusting Him with both the timing and the answer?
How can I rest in God’s faithful love today, even if His answer looks different from what I expect?
