Built to Last
Scripture
“According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 3:10-11
Prayer
Father, thank You for the firm foundation we have in Jesus Christ. In a world that is constantly shifting, You remain faithful and unchanging. Help us to build our lives on the truth of Your Word, allowing every decision, every relationship, and every opportunity to be rooted in Christ alone.
Lord, teach us to build with wisdom and purpose. Help us not to get entangled and waste our energy on things that don’t really matter. May our time, our gifts, and our efforts be invested in things that have eternal value rather than temporary success. Search our hearts and reveal any motives that are centered on ourselves instead of You. Shape us into people whose lives reflect Your character.
Today, help us to live with eternity in view. Give us the courage to choose what honors You, even when it isn't the easiest path. May the legacy we leave be one of faithfulness, love, and obedience, built upon the unshakable foundation of Jesus Christ. In His precious name, Amen.
