Calm in the Chaos
Scripture
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” John 14:27
Prayer
O’ mighty God, giver of all good things, we come before You this morning with grateful hearts. Thank You for the peace You give in the midst of chaos, for the peace You bring in the middle of our hurt, for the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Thank You that You have not left us without comfort, but have given us Your Holy Spirit. We are so grateful, Lord—let our lives reflect that gratitude. Guide us today. Give us Your wisdom and discernment in every situation we face. Help us to be Your light in a world that is hurting and searching. Reveal Yourself to those who need You today. Thank You for Your goodness and Your kindness toward us.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
