Don’t Lose Heart
Scripture
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Prayer
Gracious Father, we come to you this morning thankful that you never grow weary or lose heart. Your power, Your strength, Your energy have no limits. We bow before You this morning thankful for your mercy and grace that sustain us. We thank you for the blessings that you abundantly pour out on us. Father, when we don’t understand the things that are going around us, we can rest in the truth that you are still in control. We pray that you will continue to fix our eyes on you. When the waves are raging around us, help us to continue to look up. Help us to not look ahead too far and become discouraged, but continually encourage our hearts with the knowledge that you are always working for our good. Bring healing today, give us encouragement to press on, and help us to not lose heart in our trials. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
