For His Glory

Scripture

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31

Prayer

Lord, help us remember that everything we do matters to You. Whether we are doing something significant or simply going about the ordinary routines of our day, help us do it with the desire to honor You.

Keep us from separating our “spiritual” lives from everything else. Our work, our conversations, our relationships, our choices, and even the small things that no one else sees can all be opportunities for us to reflect who You are.

Please give us hearts that are intentional about bringing You glory—not because we are trying to be noticed or impress others, but because we love You and want our lives to point back to You. Help us to honor You not only in what we say, but in how we live.

May our everyday moments become acts of worship. Even when no one else sees, remind us that You do—and that our lives belong to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Questions for Reflection

  1. What ordinary part of my day could I begin to see as an opportunity to glorify God?

  2. What would change if I approached my work, relationships, and responsibilities with the question, “How can I honor God in this?”
