He Hears Our Voice
Scripture
"I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live." Psalm 116:1-2 (ESV)
Prayer
Lord, we love You because You first loved us. Thank You for being a merciful God who hears our prayers and responds with compassion. What a comfort it is to know that You are always present, always listening, and always attentive to the cries of Your children.
Thank You for Your great love and faithfulness. You never leave us or forsake us. In every season of life, You invite us to come to You with our joys, our burdens, our questions, and our needs. Help us to trust You with every detail of our lives, knowing that Your plans are good and Your timing is perfect.
Father, help us be a light in the world today. May our words and actions reflect Your love and point others to You. Be our Provider and Protector, a shield around us and a refuge in times of trouble. As we spend time in Your Word, reveal more of Your character to us and deepen our relationship with You.
Grow us, Lord, to be more like Jesus. Teach us to walk by faith, wait patiently on You, and call upon You continually all the days of our lives. In Jesus' name, amen.
