Our Helper and Rescuer

"Unless the Lord had given me help, I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death. When I said, 'My foot is slipping,' your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy." Psalm 94:17-19 (NIV)
Prayer
Lord, You are our only true help. If it were not for You, what hope would we have? You are our Helper, our Rescuer, and our Savior. Thank You for Your unfailing love that supports us when we feel weak and unsteady, and for Your faithful presence that never leaves our side.
When anxiety rises within us, You are our comfort. When our hearts are overwhelmed, Your peace sustains us and Your consolation brings us joy. Thank You that we never have to carry our burdens alone. You invite us to bring every fear, worry, and concern to You, knowing that You care deeply for us.
When we feel discouraged, one cry to You is enough for You to draw near. Your presence strengthens our hearts, renews our hope, and reminds us that we are never abandoned. Help us to fix our minds on Your truth rather than our circumstances. Even when our situation does not change, Your truth changes our perspective and gives us the strength to persevere.
Father, help us keep You first today in all we say and do. May we rest in Your love, trust in Your faithfulness, and find our joy in Your presence. In Jesus' name, amen.
