Held in the Wilderness

Scripture

“He found him in a desert land… He encircled him, He cared for him, He kept him as the apple of His eye… the Lord alone guided him.” Deuteronomy 32:10–12a

Prayer

Lord, even in the desert places, You are near. You surround us, care for us, and carry us when we feel weak.

When life feels dry, uncertain, or overwhelming, remind us that we are never abandoned—we are held. You cover us, lift us, and guide us with perfect care. Help us rest in that truth today.

Refocus our eyes on Your goodness and Your faithfulness.

When this life feels heavy and wears us down, renew our strength and steady our hearts to trust You in all things. Protect and provide for us and for those we love. Thank You for calling us Your own. We love You, Lord.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Questions for Reflection

  1. What evidence of God’s faithfulness can I look back on to encourage my heart today?

  2. Where is God asking me to trust Him more deeply, even without clear answers?
