If God is for Us
Scripture
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32 ESV
Prayer
Gracious Father, you are so good to us. You meet us where we are, you are always for us, and you fight on our behalf. You are so patient with our weaknesses and always faithful to provide exactly what we need, often before we even ask.
Lord, why do we so often doubt your power? Why do we question whether you hear our prayers? Ground us in the truth of your mighty Word. Strengthen our faith and help us to trust you more each day.
Give us wisdom and discernment. Fill us with the endurance and strength to faithfully do what you have called us to do. Give us compassionate hearts and mouths that speak encouragement, grace, and hope. Help us not to be easily offended, but instead clothe us with humility and give us your heart for people. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Questions for Reflection
What worry or burden do I need to surrender to the Lord, trusting that He is for me and will provide exactly what I need?
Who can I encourage this week with the same hope and grace that God has shown me?
