A Heart of Gratitude
Scripture
“I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever. For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.” Psalm 86:12-13 ESV
Prayer
Lord, we come before You today with grateful hearts, humbled by Your goodness and amazed by Your love. You are the Creator of heaven and earth, all-powerful and all-knowing, yet You desire a personal relationship with us. Thank You for making a way for us to know You through Jesus Christ.
Your steadfast love never fails. It sustains us in every season, strengthens us when we are weary, and reminds us that we are never alone. Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your protection, and Your provision. So often You care for us in ways we don't even see.
When anxiety begins to rise, calm our hearts and help us rest in Your presence. Quiet our fears with the assurance of Your love. For those who are hurting today, draw near and surround them with Your comfort, peace, and hope.
Help us to live with hearts full of gratitude and lives that bring glory to Your name. May our words reflect Your grace, our actions reflect Your love, and our attitudes reflect our trust in You. In Jesus' name, amen.
