Living with Access

Scripture

"For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf." Hebrews 9:24 (ESV)

Prayer

Lord, we praise You this morning for the power, access, and hope that are available to us through Jesus Christ. Thank You that we no longer look forward to what was promised—we have the fullness of Christ and the privilege of knowing You personally. The door is open through Jesus, and we have direct access to Your presence.

Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit living within us. What a comfort it is to know that even when we don't know how to pray, Your Spirit intercedes for us according to Your perfect will. Thank You that we are never alone and never without help.

Father, help us to be holy as You are holy. Show us what that looks like in our daily lives. Reveal anything we need to lay down—whether attitudes, habits, fears, or distractions—and give us the courage to pick up whatever helps us reflect Your character more clearly. Continue shaping us into the image of Christ.

Thank You for Your constant presence, Your unfailing love, and Your faithfulness to us. May we walk closely with You today, aware of Your Spirit within us and grateful for all that Jesus has done on our behalf. We love You, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.
