Stand Firm. Love Well.
Scripture
“Be alert, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong. Do everything in love.” I Corinthians 16:13-14
Prayer
Lord, help us to stay alert and aware of what is happening around us without allowing fear to control us. Keep us grounded in our faith and help us stand firm when we are challenged, discouraged, or tempted to compromise what we know to be true.
Father, give us courage when we need to speak up, strength when we feel weak, and wisdom to know when to stand firm and when to extend grace. Help us not to be ruled by our emotions or circumstances, but to respond in ways that reflect Your character.
Lord, above all, help us to do everything in love. Let love shape our words, our attitudes, our decisions, and the way we treat the people around us. When it is difficult to be patient or gracious, remind us of the love You have shown us. Give us strong convictions without harshness, courage without arrogance, and strength that is always guided by love.
Help us live today with our eyes open, our faith firmly planted, and our hearts willing to love well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
