Prayer
Lord, You ask us to trust You with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. Sometimes that is easier to say than it is to walk it out in our daily lives. We want to know what is coming, understand why things are happening, and see where the road will lead us before we take the next step. Help us to trust You even when we don't have all the answers.
Forgive us for the times we make our own understanding the complete measure of what we believe You are capable of doing. Remind us that You see what we cannot see and You know what we cannot know. When our plans don't make sense anymore, help us to remember that You have not lost sight of us.
Teach us to acknowledge You in every part of our lives—not just in the things we understand or the decisions that feel easy. Help us invite You into our plans, our relationships, our work, our disappointments, and our uncertainties. Make us willing to follow Your direction even when You lead us somewhere we wouldn't have chosen for ourselves.
Lord, straighten our paths. Give us the faith to take the next step without needing to see the whole journey. We trust that when we place our lives in Your hands, we are never walking alone. In Jesus’ name - Amen.
