Alpha & Omega
Scripture
“Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.” Revelation 21:5-6 ESV
Prayer
Lord, You are the Alpha and the Omega — the beginning and the end. There was nothing before You, and there will be nothing after You. You alone are the sovereign God, holy, eternal, and unchanging. You hold all things in Your hands, and nothing in our lives ever catches You off guard. You never sleep, never fail, and never make a mistake. Help us to truly rest in these truths when our hearts feel anxious or uncertain.
When we are tempted to take control of situations ourselves, teach us instead to surrender them to You first. Quiet the noise around us so we can hear Your voice clearly. Lead us with Your wisdom and help us to walk in obedience and trust, even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Remind us that Your plans are always better than our own.
Thank You for being our provider, our protector, and our loving Heavenly Father. Thank You that You are making all things new and that Your promises are trustworthy and true. When we feel weary, empty, or discouraged, draw us again to the living water that only You can provide. Fill our hearts with renewed hope, peace, and confidence in You, knowing that You are faithful to finish all that You have begun.
We thank You, Lord, and we praise Your holy name.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
