Keep Us Steady

“But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress. O my Strength, I will sing praises to you, for you, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love.” Psalm 59:16-17 ESV
Prayer
O God, our Fortress and our Refuge—our Provider, Protector, Savior, our Shelter, our sure Foundation—You are the only One who is completely true and good. You are our hope at all times, especially in times of trouble. Faithful One. El Roi—the God who sees us, always.The Lifter of our heads. You are perfect in all of Your ways.
Loving Father, we bring our praise to You today. Please encourage our hearts. Steady our minds on You and on Your truth. Keep us steady in difficult times and keep us faithful in times of ease. Give us strength, wisdom, and kindness toward one another. Help us to be Your hands and feet.
Be glorified in the midst of our trials. Give us eyes to see You in them. Help us to keep a right perspective in all things.
