Deep Roots, Steady Faith

Scripture

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.” 1 Peter 4:12-13 ESV

Prayer

Thank You, Father, that we never walk through our trials alone. Thank You that nothing ever catches You off guard and that You are always faithful, steady, and in control. Even in difficult seasons, we can rest in the truth that You are a good God and a loving Father who cares deeply for His children.

Hold us close today, Lord, and strengthen our hearts through the power of Your Word. When we feel weary, remind us that Your grace is sufficient and Your presence never leaves us. Sink our roots deep into the truth of Scripture so that we will remain firm and unshaken through every storm. Use our trials to grow our faith, refine our hearts, and draw us closer to You.

Teach us to trust You more fully and to walk in obedience, peace, and hope. Let the love of Christ be evident in our words, our attitudes, and the way we care for others today. May our lives bring glory to You in every season. In Jesus’ name, amen.
