Strength for the Next Step

“And I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing and sorrowful person I will replenish.” Jeremiah 31:25 AMP
Prayer
Lord, you alone can truly satisfy, and you alone are the refresher of our souls. When we feel we cannot take one more step, you are faithful to strengthen us. When our minds and hearts are unsettled, you are able to calm our anxious thoughts with just one word — just as you calmed the raging sea.
Father, give us your strength for today and help us to trust you in the midst of whatever we may face. Help us to take the next step you place before us and leave the rest in your hands. Teach us not to carry burdens you never asked us to hold. Remind us that your grace is sufficient for every weakness and every weary moment.
When discouragement tries to settle in, lift our eyes back to you. Refresh the hearts that feel drained, replenish those who feel empty, and renew those who have been waiting a long time for relief. Help us to rest in your presence instead of striving in our own strength. Fill us again with your peace, your wisdom, and your hope.
Thank you for being near to the brokenhearted and gentle with the weary. Thank you that we never walk through difficult seasons alone. We love you, Lord, and we choose to trust you, even in the midst of our weariness.
