Yours is the Kingdom
Scripture
“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand are power and might, and in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.”
1 Chronicles 29:11–12 (ESV)
Prayer
Lord, You are great and powerful! Your name is majestic, and You have victory over everything.
Lord, we cry out for Your strength today and for Your peace. Father, I lift up my sisters to You and ask that You sustain them today. Please be with their families and help each one keep her focus on You and Your faithfulness.
We need You, Lord. We cry out this morning for Your peace, Your comfort, and Your resolve. All that we are and all that we have is because of You. Help us learn more and more to turn to You. Deepen our trust in You and help us stand firm as we follow You in this new year.
We love You, Lord. We give You the glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
