Set Your Mind

Scripture

“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” Colossians 3:1-2 ESV

Prayer

Thank You, Father, for making a way for us to be raised with Christ. Thank You for His sacrifice, which has changed the course of our lives and gives us a living hope that cannot be taken away. Because of Him, we are not defined by our past, our failures, or our circumstances, but by Your redeeming love.

Help us to be mindful of this truth each day. When distractions pull at our attention and worries cloud our perspective, remind us who we are in You.

Keep our hearts and minds focused on the things that are eternal. Shape our desires so that we value what lasts and release what is fleeting. Even though this world is temporary, we still live here and must navigate daily life. Please give us wisdom, discernment, and patience as we do. Help us to walk with grace in our interactions, integrity in our decisions, and compassion toward those around us.

Teach us to honor You in both the seen and unseen moments — in our thoughts, our words, and our actions. Let our lives reflect the hope we carry and the peace we have found in You.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
