Faithful, Always

Scripture

“I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you— so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” I Corinthians 1:4-9

Prayer

Father, thank You for the grace You have poured into my life through Jesus. Thank You for the many ways You have strengthened me, taught me, and equipped me to know You more and more over the years. Every good gift I have comes only from Your hand. Help me to never take Your faithfulness for granted! I want to live each day with a heart that overflows with gratitude.

Lord, help me to remain steadfast and confident in You. When I feel weak or uncertain, remind me You are the One who sustains me. My hope doesn’t rest in my ability to hold on to You, but in Your promise to hold on to me. Strengthen my faith as I trust You one day at a time.

Thank You that You are ALWAYS faithful. Thank You for the grace You have continually poured into my life through Jesus Christ. Thank You for every way You have strengthened me, taught me, and equipped me to know You more. Help me to live each day with a heart that overflows with gratitude.

Questions for Reflection

  1. Do I believe God is still at work in me, even in the areas where I feel unfinished?

  2. Where have I seen God's grace at work in my life that I may have overlooked?
