He is Steadfast
Scripture
“Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant. Let your mercy come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.” Psalm 119:76-77
Prayer
Father, you are steadfast—always constant in your love for us and faithful to your promises. Thank you for assuring us that you are always with us. Your presence is constant, Lord, and your mercies never fail; they are new every morning. Your mercy meets us even - or especially - in our weakness, reminding us that we are held by your grace and not by our own strength.
Pour out your comfort and peace on us, Lord. Strengthen us so we can stand firm in you. Help us to take our thoughts captive and bring them back to your truth.
Lord, in the midst of trials, continue to shape our hearts to become more like your Son, Jesus. Thank you that nothing we experience is wasted in your hands, and that you are always working for our good.
In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
