Lead us in Joy and Peace

Scripture

“For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

— Isaiah 55:12–13 (ESV)

Prayer

Lord, we rejoice today because of your faithful promises. Thank you for the joy and peace that come from you—gifts that are always available to us. Fill our hearts with your joy and peace today.

Help us to turn to you and praise you throughout our day. Keep us mindful that your presence is always with us.

Remind us that you are working for our good, even when we cannot see it or feel it. Help us not to rely on our emotions, but instead to stand firmly on the truth of your Word.

Father, thank you that nothing is outside of your control. Your power is supreme, and nothing can overtake your throne. There is no one like you, our God.

Thank you for loving us and for saving us. Guide our steps today and help us walk in the joy and peace you promise.

In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.
