Nothing is Wasted
Scripture
“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV
Prayer
Lord, You waste nothing. Everything You do has a purpose and will be accomplished. No one can thwart Your plans. You cannot be surprised. You never need a backup plan. Your Word is powerful and true. You cannot lie.
Help us to grab hold firmly of Your Word and not let go. Give us understanding of Your promises. Help us to proclaim Your truth with both boldness and gentleness.
Even in times of discouragement, help us to remain faithful and not turn from Your Word. Immerse us in it, Father. Make us diligent in prayer. Give us a heart for people and eyes that see beyond the surface to genuine needs. Equip us to be Your servants in such a time as this.
We love You, Lord. We praise You this morning. Strengthen us and empower us by Your Spirit.
