Trusting His Timing
Scripture
“Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you...” Isaiah 26:8-9a (NIV)
Prayer
Father, we come before You this morning thanking You that we never wait for You in vain. You are always faithful. Things may not happen on our timetable—but they always do on Yours. We trust that You know best.
You are a loving Father who knows how to give good gifts to His children and longs to do so. Help us to hunger and thirst more and more for Your Word. Fill us with Your truth. Help us to rest in You, even when the waiting feels long.
Renew us today as we wait on You.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Where am I feeling impatient right now, and how can I choose to trust God’s timing instead?
What would it look like for me to rest in God’s faithfulness today, even without answers?
