The Spirit Intercedes for Us
Scripture
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” Romans 8:26 ESV
Prayer
Lord, You are the Most High God. You are perfect in all Your ways, and Your understanding is beyond anything we can comprehend. Thank You for making a way for us to come to You through the sacrifice of Your Son. Because of Him, we can come before You freely.
And thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit, who comforts us and intercedes for us when we don’t even know how to pray. What a gift that even when words fail us, You still hear the cries of our hearts.
Father, please continue to sustain us, strengthen us, and provide for us each day. Give us what we need—even the things we don’t yet know to ask for. Be near to our loved ones and encourage their hearts today.
Help us to remain steadfast in times of trial. When we feel weak, remind us to look to You. When we feel uncertain, help us trust that You are still at work.
Thank You for walking with us through every season of life. We place our hope and trust in You.
