The Riches of His Grace

Scripture

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight..." Ephesians 1:7-8 (ESV)

Prayer

Lord, out of the riches of Your grace—You have saved us. Thank You for pursuing us and drawing us to Yourself. Thank you for Your merciful kindness. We praise You today as we reflect on the truth that we have always been on Your mind, even before we recognized our need for You.

Thank You for the redemption and forgiveness we have through Jesus Christ. We could never earn such a gift, yet You freely poured out Your grace upon us in abundance. Your love is greater than our failures, and Your mercy is new every morning.

Father, help us not to keep that grace to ourselves. Let the grace You have lavished upon us overflow into our relationships, our words, and our actions. Teach us to extend the same compassion, forgiveness, and kindness that You have shown to us.

Grant us wisdom and understanding today, and help us walk in them. May our lives reflect the beauty of Your grace and point others to the hope found in You alone. In Jesus' name, amen.
