Tender Hearts, Humble Lives
Scripture
“Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.” I Peter 3:8-9
Prayer
Father, thank You for calling us to love one another as brothers and sisters in Christ. Give us tender hearts that are quick to show compassion and care for those You have placed in our lives. Teach us to walk in humility and reflect Your love in the way we speak, listen, and serve one another. May our relationships be marked by the same kindness and mercy You have so generously shown to us.
Lord, when we are hurt, misunderstood, or treated unfairly, we confess that responding with grace doesn't always come naturally. Through the power of Your Spirit, help us choose blessing over retaliation and trust You with the outcome.
Teach us to be people who bring peace wherever we go. Let our homes, our workplaces, and our friendships be marked by kindness and humility. Help us remember that we have been called to be a blessing because we have first been blessed by You. Fill us with Your love so that it overflows into every opportunity You place before us. In Jesus' name, amen.
