Surrendered
Today’s Focus
Living with a heart that is surrendered and open to God.
Scripture
“After saying these things, Jesus was troubled in his spirit…” John 13:21 ESV
Prayer
Lord, we pause today and reflect on this moment—knowing what was ahead of you, your heart was troubled, yet you continued forward in love and obedience. Thank you for understanding the weight of what we carry. You are not distant from our struggles or untouched by our pain.
Search our hearts, Father. Reveal anything in us that is not aligned with you. Where we are tempted to hold back, to turn away, or to choose our own way over yours—gently bring that into the light. Help us to be honest before you, knowing that you meet us with grace, not condemnation.
Draw us closer to you. Strengthen our faith to trust you fully, even when it’s hard. Help us to remain near to you, to walk in obedience, and to love you with undivided hearts.
As we move through this week, keep us mindful of all that you willingly walked toward for us. Give us hearts that are soft, surrendered, and ready to follow you wherever you lead.
In Jesus name, amen.
