Standing Firm
Scripture
“Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.” I Corinthians 15:1-2
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the good news of the gospel. Thank You for the truth that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was raised again. This is more than a story we have heard; it is the foundation of our faith and the hope we have in You.
Father, help us remember the gospel and never take it for granted. When life is difficult or our faith feels weak, draw us back to the truth we first believed. Keep us grounded in Your Word, especially when doubts arise or the voices around us grow loud.
Lord, let the truth of the gospel continue to change us. Give us a deeper understanding of Your grace and a greater appreciation for all You have done through Jesus. Teach us to hold firmly to our faith, living each day with the hope and freedom that come from knowing we belong to You.
Thank You for the gospel that saves and sustains us. May we never lose sight of its power or forget how deeply we need Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
