Upheld
Scripture
“Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.” Exodus 17:11-12 ESV
Prayer
Father, thank you that you already have the victory! Thank you that you never grow weary and that you are steadfast in all your ways.
But Lord, we do grow weary. We grow tired, and at times we feel worn down. Lord, we ask that you would strengthen our arms to continue to persevere in prayer. When we feel weak, help us. Teach us to support one another so that we can keep standing against discouragement.
Help us to remain consistent in prayer—to stay committed to time with you. Strengthen us to keep fighting against sinful attitudes and to set our minds on you each day, every moment.
Lord, we lift up those who are sick. We pray for those who are hurting emotionally and financially. We ask for your healing.
We pray for wisdom for leaders, and for protection for those on the front lines.
Strengthen us so that we can remain steadfast in a world that is constantly changing.
Thank you for loving us, Lord. Thank you for always seeing us.
We praise you this morning. We lay all that we have at your feet and ask that you would renew us.
In Jesus’ precious name, amen.
